Project Architect

Conrad Consulting in partnership with a Chartered Architecture Practice in Chesterfield are currently recruiting for a Project Architect to run various retail schemes throughout the midlands.
Our client are a market leader in Commercial Architecture offering quality design services in sustainable design, Building Information Modelling, 3D Visualisation, and Interior Design. The practice has been established for over 30 years and due to unprecedented client demand they opened a regional office to specifically focuses on delivering projects within the retail sector. The successful Project Architect will be joining a close knit team which forms part of a wider robust business who have a sustainable portfolio of future work within the very busy food retail sectors.
We are keen to hear from experienced individuals possessing strong design and technical capabilities and a proven track record in the management and delivery of Architectural projects using REVIT / BIM software. A project Architect that has gained a broad range of experience encompassing all RIBA stages would be preferable as the vast majority of commissions undertaken are taken from start to -completion. An Architect with excellent personable / client facing skills is also essential as the practice promotes their job running team members to really get to know their clients and their personnel.
Requirements for the Project Architect
Minimum 3- 5 years' experience post qualification (RIBA/ARB)
Preferably with previous food retail experience but not essential
Experience leading projects that are on site through to Practical Completion.
Previously worked across all stages of RIBA / taking projects from start -finish.
Client facing experience required.
Proficient with Revit and Auto CAD.
Comprehensive understanding of current UK Building regulations.
Contribute to design stage risk assessments.The position is office based with the option of flexible working hours and provisions can be made to work from home 1 day per week after 3 months.
Salary depending on experience £35,000 -£40,000 + Pension and a host of benefits.
