Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Artist, Art Graduate, Art Therapist or someone with a keen interest in Art, to work as a dedicated Teaching Assistant, working 1:1 with a child with Autism. The Primary School based in Croydon and the school is looking for an enthusiastic team player who is keen to inspire young learners by providing and supporting high quality teaching and enjoyable lessons. You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference.
This would be a full-time role commencing in September 2023 and would be perfect for somebody that is looking to be a Teacher in the future, wants to gain experience working with children or is looking for a career in the education sector.
This role would involve:
Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons
Organising and collecting reources for the lessons
Deliver interventions, including those that are art-based
Use enthusiasm to encourage children to become involved in lessons
