Guiding the creation of services from beginning-to-end, whilst centering on user needs is a real skill.
Particularly on large complex projects where the user need can change and evolve.
This Service Design role will focus on exactly that; designing government services whilst being a champion of UCD! This is for a consultancy that likes to take a holistic approach to services with specialists jumping into detail in their subject area.
They have agile teams which really aids in the quality you can give to external stakeholders you engage with. What you'll work together to create is essential government services that allow people to live their everyday lives, often being essential for allowing that to happen.
Your end clients will largely be government departments that have a clearly measurable positive outcomes on people's lives, like NHS etc.
Whilst you're at the coal-face of design here, creating service blueprints and managing relationship, you'll have contact personal training and development to explore emerging areas as well as build you into either a manager or subject matter expert.
Bristol & Birmingham offices would be ideal to work hybrid from. However, other locations such as Leeds and London considered.
