Our client is currently seeking a Senior or Principal Landscape Architect to join our collaborative Landscape Architecture teams to work on a diverse range of projects across different sectors, including strategic land, regeneration, residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, renewable energy infrastructure, highways, water and wastewater schemes.

We are looking for driven individuals who think differently and love to challenge conventional thinking to join us in growing teams of like-minded specialists working to meet the unprecedented industry-wide demand and environmental challenges.

We want to hear from qualified Landscape Architects who can demonstrate work experience in preparing landscape and visual impact assessments and appraisals.

Our client can offer a wide variety of projects at all pre- and post-planning stages of the planning, design and implementation process.

In the Senior or Principal role, you would provide landscape planning and landscape design input to projects whilst cultivating strong client and project team relationships, actively supporting the development of colleagues.

You will also provide input to fee proposals, discipline task management, and undertake field and visual survey work across the UK. Furthermore, there will be opportunities to influence and shape the team objectives and growth through your work whilst also developing your own career and expertise with a Registered Practice of the Landscape Institute.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to be based in either our Bristol or Warrington office, however, we will also consider our other office locations. What are we looking for?

You will preferably hold a Degree and Diploma or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or another relevant subject.
You will ideally be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
You will share our client's desire to work with clients and stakeholders to create exceptional places that benefit people, communities, and the environment.
You will have demonstrable experience in preparing LVIAs and appraisals for UK planning applications with strong report writing skills.
You will have strong knowledge of environmental planning issues, current UK planning, legislation, and environmental impact assessment regulations.
In addition, you will understand the issues and needs of a range of technical disciplines in relation to the planning and design of sustainable places and projects.
You will have a proven ability to understand client needs, think creatively and provide pragmatic advice to meet client needs for sustainable solutions, within time and cost constraints.
You will also have the necessary skills and experience to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders and will use your organisational skills to manage tasks effectively.
As a proactive and engaged team-player, you'll enjoy actively supporting and facilitating the development of team colleagues, as well as working collaboratively with other teams within the wider business.
