Have experience contributing to work packages and reviewing colleagues work and providing feedback
Have experience of producing manufacturing information and knowledge of Design for manufacturing techniques
Have experience in working within PDM/PLM tools (Vault) to ensure governance is maintained
Have a Degree in relevant technical discipline or relatable relevant experience
Have at least 3+ years in an engineering / manufacturing business
Have knowledge of engineering drawings, CAD draughting standards, PLM and applying GD&T to part drawings
Have knowledge of manufacturing processes and design constraints (material, tolerance, process etc)
Have the ability to work with autonomy and within work package teams
Have the ability to adapt to product design in a different industry context, whilst bringing core design and draughting skills
Are you?

A design engineer with experience of conceptualizing, modelling and draughting products to meet specification or achieve design direction
Experienced in producing assembly drawings, layouts, scheme, part drawings
Experienced in producing prototypes and test execution
A detail focused individual with strong time management in the pursuit of deadlines
An effective communicator internally who can work across various functions to ensure outcomes are achieved
The Role

Assist as part of our in-house design teams design, develop and deliver best in class Student Accommodation, Hotels and Residential projects that leverage the benefits of our offsite construction system developed and assembled in our production facility. Working as part of the development team across the complete lifecycle, from concept to implantation, producing prototype designs, test plans, validation reports and manufacturing documentation. The ideal candidate will be able to work with autonomy, leading work packages.
