Job Overview:
As a Full-Time Cover Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by supervising students and maintaining a positive learning environment. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed and that students remain on task. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the education sector and make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
About the School:
The School is a mixed school based in Salisbury for students aged from 4+ years with around 900 students in total. The school comes with a Good reputation and has supportive team members that cares deeply for their values. The school also provides free onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise students during lessons and ensure they adhere to school policies and procedures.
– Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and instructions left by absent teachers.
– Manage the classroom environment to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
– Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
– Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that may occur during the lesson.
– Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school administrators regarding any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
– Bachelor's degree in Education, or relevant field preferred.
– Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students.

Pay: Daily Rate £100 – £130 per day
