Formed over a decade ago this firm undertakes exciting work on heritage and educational buildings located throughout Norfolk & Suffolk. They deliver a variety of work including the surveying, refurbishment, alteration, repair and adaption of educational buildings, church buildings, parish halls and the management of a portfolio of residential properties too.

Now that the business is at an exciting point in their development, they are looking to invest in the continued growth of the company by appointing a Senior Architectural Technologist.

The role would see the Senior Architectural Technologist support other senior members of staff in the delivery of a range of projects from £50k to £1m. Work will be to develop and manage primarily education focussed projects through all RIBA stages of work, from initial feasibility / planning stage through to project delivery and completion.

This is a client facing and lead generating role with excellent potential for career progression together with the opportunity to play a significant role in influencing the future growth of the company.

Senior Architectural Technologist Requirements:

Relevant Architectural qualification
CIAT Chartered status – highly desirable
Extensive UK industry experience
Education & Heritage sector experience – desirable
Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, NBS and Microsoft office
BIM/ Revit experience an advantage but not essential.
Extensive technical knowledge of the built environment
Ability to manage projects from inception to completion
Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
Ability to identify building defects and advise on remedial work
Ability and personality to lead and motivate a small team together with project and time management skills
Analytically minded, with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
A full UK driving license.
