I am working with a global production house as they are looking to bring in an experienced Head of Post Production to run the production team.
You will work primarily with the HOD's, Producers and report into Director of Moving Image to oversee the smooth running of projects and the department as a whole.
It is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of globally recognised brands on some really exciting projects. You will be joining the company, bringing a team of producers with you, having influence on the team you have around yourself.
What you'll do as a Head of Post Production:
Work with EP's and the new business team to onboard and grow new and existing clients
Initiate production kick-off to decide which producers work on which projects
Join client calls to oversee production management
Report to clients on final costings and promptly invoice projects as per agreed terms
Work alongside the Director of Moving Image on team salary management and annual performance reviews
Work with Post Producers to utilise resources across all projects
Communicate with the bookings team to support on getting freelance cover as required
Identify areas for recruitment for both freelancers and full-time staff and holding first and second stage interviews
Auditing of time-sheet actuals
Provide transparency for employees on career progression and mentoring as well as coaching for new talent
Coordinate weekly meetings with direct reports for progress updates on projects
What you'll bring as a Head of Post Production:
3+ years experience in a similar role
Experience in an established post-production house
Strong people management and leadership skills
Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of managing budgets and forward planning
Excellent attention to detail
Calm and methodical approach
Ability to work without supervision
