Mechanical Assembler

My client who are a Global market leading Packaging Machining business, are currently seeking an ambitious Mechanical Assembler to join their growing team. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for supporting day to day workshop operations.

The main job role will be supporting the Manufacture and Mechanical Assembly of my client’s range of World Class Packaging Machinery and associated equipment.

Key Skills & Attributes – Field Service Engineer

· Candidates will ideally be Mechanically minded with an aptitude for fitting and assembling bespoke components

· Preferably Qualified in an engineering discipline or have successfully completed an engineering apprenticeship

· Minimum of 1 years' experience in assembling and repairing purpose-built machinery or bespoke Mechanical Equipment.

· A passion and general interest in mechanical principles

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Understanding of mechanical drawings and systems

· An aspiration for Career development and further training

· Ability to diagnose faults and make recommendations of improvements

· Ability to work alone and under pressure

· Ability to communicate in all situations at all levels of an organisation
