Cad Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
You’re a talented CAD Designer who is looking for stability, career growth, autonomy, progression and more importantly, to be an integral voice within an exciting and fast-growing engineering start-up based in Edinburgh.
You’ll be wanting a fresh challenge with a young, forward-thinking company with new systems being instituted frequently. You’re adaptable, you thrive on fast-paced challenges, and you can take on a project at any stage and take full ownership.
You’re encouraged and self-motivated and have a natural ability to converse with clients from multiple market sectors to solve problems, deliver design, take responsibility of project delivery, cost estimate, submit design solutions and be the key figure in providing unique systems to quality engineering clients both nationally and internationally alongside the Technical-Director.
You’ll be joining a small, dedicated team of like-minded, talented individuals who over the past 7 years have helped grow the business from start-up to a business with a £4 million turnover.
As this is a small team, your impact is huge. You should be prepared for exciting changes because as the company grows…so does your opportunity.
If you can:
* Delivering CAD Design and draft engineering on projects
* Liaising with clients on the project requirements
* Submitting concept design solutions
* Being information compliant
* Pricing up equipment for projects
* Multiple project work
* Have an eye for further client opportunities.
* Overseeing the updating of pricing spreadsheets
* Being on-site with clients as and when required
* General help!
If you are:
* Structural drawings ie: refineries, pipe racks, modules, bridges etc
* CAD; Excel; Microsoft; Outlook
* Certificate of Conformance
* Software packages such as: ‘AutoCAD Inventor’
Desirable:
* Full, clean driving license
