AREA MANAGER – High Street Retailer

Salary; €62,000 – €68,000 + Package

Ideally living location to get the best coverage on stores;

This a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Area Manager on a contracted position for 12 months. This is a really well established and stable team, with opportunities of growth on sales and developing the region further.

As an Area Manager you will focus on; people, operations and managing the geographic demands of the role. You will be a very hands on Area Manager going to store; leading the teams on service an standards and supporting your Store Managers on how to develop, mentor their individual teams for future roles.

The Role at Area Manager level;

You will be responsible for leading your store teams and key responsibilities will include: –

Owning and developing the retail strategy and driving specific strategic projects across the region and your 10 plus retail stores
Continually assessing the retail environment/climate and competitor activity to anticipate issues and provide proactive solutions
Sharing ideas and best practice with colleagues in order to ensure that the brand is continually developing and standards and customer expectations are continually exceeded
Leading retail initiatives, leveraging support from head office stakeholders, analysing results and feeding back commercial recommendations
Motivating and engaging your store teams enabling them to feel empowered, inspired and connected to the business vision, you will be responsible for circa 100 members of staff
Ensuring that the customer experience is being consistently delivered across the retail estate
Proactively building succession plans and talent mapping to ensure the development and promotion of employees
Managing a large geographical region with over 10 stores across the North and South Of Ireland.

What experience will be required to be successful as an Area Manager;

You will currently be operating at an Area Manager, Cluster Manager or Multi Site Store Manager level to be considered for this appointment, and having worked within an assisted sales environment that focuses on the customer journey and experience. Ideally be working on the high street in; fashion, accessories, jewellery or beauty.

What is the package at Area Manager;

Salary of up to €68,000 per annum
