The senior finance team are seeking a solid Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary basis as the company is going through a period of growth. A successful candidate will have a high probability of becoming permanent. This role is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to secure a role in finance or to kick start their career.
Accounts Assistant
Duties:
* Ensuring that purchase invoices are approved by the relevant budget holder
* Processing approved supplier invoices, credit notes, expense claims and credit cards
* Set up supplier payments and prepare the relevant reports for review
* Processing & reconciling invoices
* Preparing accruals for purchase invoices at month end
* Performing monthly reconciliations of trade creditors
* Assisting in the provision of information during the year-end audit
* Petty Cash monthly reconciliations
* Administering all company credit cards e.g. spending limit, cancellations etc, reconciling on a monthly basis
* Assisting in covering absence for other members of the finance team.
* Answering calls to suppliers
Desirable:
* Accounts payable background
* Good written and spoken communication
* Great personality looking to grow with an exciting business
Salary:
