Nexus Careers has been approached to support a manufacturing business in hiring an Air Conditioning Engineer to join their well-established yet growing Air Conditioning division across London & the Home Counties.

Our client is a very well-known brand across the HVAC industry and have a reputation spanning across 60 years. Having won various awards over the years, this business is a very recognisable organisation who have an unbelievable staff retention. Due to organic growth across several their key contracts, they are now in the market for an Air Conditioning Engineer to work on a mobile basis across London & the Home Counties, where a fully expensed vehicle & fuel card of offered along with part travel (door to door after 30 mins each way).

Candidates will be expected to have a solid understanding of various air conditioning systems such as: split units, multi-split units, VRV’s and VRF’s, and will ideally have experience of working with various refrigeration and chiller plant, however training will be given on each trade regardless. Applicants with any electrical experience/qualifications will be highly favourable.

In addition to plenty of manufacturer training, our client is offering a salary of circa £40k with plenty of overtime available to increase earnings (most engineers achieve circa £50k). There is also plenty of opportunity to progress, as the business are looking to push their air conditioning division forward in the coming months and years. There is an on call allowance of £150 plus a minimum of 4 hours paid when called out, on a 1:5 callout rota.
