Agricultural Workshop Fitter
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary :
We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Workshop Fitter with a preference for experience in the fruit industry, or alternatively, a strong background in agriculture. The chosen candidate will take on the responsibility of overseeing a fleet that includes Munchof 3-row and single-row air-assisted sprayers, Hardi weedlillers, Zanon and Perfect pulverisors, as well as maintenance of chainsaws, strimmers, and vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain a fleet of agricultural equipment, including air-assisted sprayers, weedlillers, pulverisors, chainsaws, strimmers, and vehicles.
Liaise with the Farm Manager regularly to ensure efficient collaboration and support the daily operations of the spraying team.
Conduct welding tasks as required.
Possess knowledge of abrasive wheel operation (although not essential).
Qualifications:
Welding experience is essential.
Possession of PA1 and PA3 certifications is advantageous but not essential.
A bus license would be considered a valuable asset.
