About your new company:
Are you an experienced Agricultural Service Technician / Mechnaic / Engineer looking for a new opportunity? My client a top tier dealership is looking for an experienced Mechanic in to join their team at a depot based near Darlington
As an Agricultural Service Technician you will be required to work on a wide variety of Agricultural Land based Vehicles, Such as Tractors, Combines, Balers, Telehandlers etc
About your new Agricultural Equipment Mechanic role;
Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or plant equipment in a workshop and/or field environment
Completes all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality (job cards, time sheets)
Follows all safety rules and regulations
Completes all training programmes to further develop skills and knowledge in a timely manner
Maintains a clean work environment, assists with overall workshop organisation, ensures correct use of tools and vehicles at all times
What you’ll need to succeed:
Knowledge of agricultural & plant equipment such as tractors, telehandlers and loading shovels (candidates from other industries will be considered, ie. Plant and construction)
Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment
Applicants must be confident in using laptop diagnostic methods in addition to traditional mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic techniques
Familiar with manufacturers products
Ability to work well in a team environment
Minimum LTA certification or appropriate comparable as required by the role
Full, clean driving licence essential for field roles
Ability to work extended hours
