Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum Overtime + Company Van + 22 Days Hol
Bored of servicing the same old machinery? As our Service Engineer you'll conduct PPM's, servicing and repairs to a wide range of heavy equipment. You'll have the chance to service machinery including forklifts, access equipment, agricultural machinery, mewps, plant equipment or similar. BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000
BENEFITS:

· Overtime to increase your salary (10-15 hours weekly). Overtime paid at 1.5x, 2x for Sundays or Bank Holidays.
· 22 Days Holiday, plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day a year with service.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Newcastle based, commutable from Morpeth, Blyth, Whitley Bay, North Shields, Hexham, Consett, Sunderland, Seaham, Chester-Le-Street, Gateshead and other surrounding areas.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer – Plant, Forklifts (FLT), Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPS), Agricultural Machinery
Based out of our Newcastle depot, as one of our Service Engineers, you'll be servicing, repairing and completing PPM's on various types of plant equipment, forklifts, agricultural machinery, power tools, MEWPS, vehicles, tower-lights and other heavy machinery.
Most of your time will be spent on site with customers based around the North East, however there will be occasions where you'll need to travel across the UK. You'll be expected to join in on a weekend call out rota shared between our other Engineers.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer – Plant, Forklifts (FLT), Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPS), Agricultural Machinery
You must be an experienced Service Engineer with an understanding of Hydraulics, Electrics and Mechanical Systems.
You'll have:
· A good understanding of repairing any of the following : plant machinery, agricultural equipment, Forklifts, Access equipment / mewps, Quarry equipment or any other similar heavy machinery.
· The ability to work in a fast paced environment ensuring equipment is repaired to a high standard.
· A valid UK driving license.
Above all you'll have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
