Agricultural Machinery Technicians! Are you an experienced Agricultural Machinery Technician looking for a new and exciting role? Wise Employment have an amazing opportunity based across Devon & Cornwall, for a talented, experience, and hardworking Technician to join a large, friendly and growing team. Paying between £30,000-£36,000 per annum DOE, plus overtime and overall potential earnings of up to £42,000 plus a huge amount of benefits ranging from: free onsite parking, staff discount, up to 35 days’ holiday, company social events and much more.
As an Agricultural Machinery Technician, you will be required to; perform diagnostics, service and repairs on agricultural equipment. You will also perform pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment and deal with administrative tasks such as completion of job related administration and reports (job cards/DTAC/ timesheets etc). You will maintain a tidy and organised work station, deal with health and safety requirements along with undertake any training as well as coach and support apprentices.
To be the best fit for this Agricultural Machinery Technician role you must:
– Experience working on Tractors and agricultural machinery (John Deere is desirable)
– Be competent in carrying out vehicle diagnostics
– Full UK drivers licence
– Be confident with computers
– Have good customer service skills
– The ability to work independently and part of a team
– Common sense – working with very expensive and dangerous mechanical equipment
– Passionate and hard working
