2nd Line IT Technician

Main Responsibilities for the successful 2nd Line IT Technician:
As a 2nd line IT technician your role will be a mix of working on client projects and service desk escalations, On-Site Installations. The role will require you to have excellent technical and problem resolution skills. This role is an important technical position as a valued member of the team:
* Build rapport with existing and potential clients
* Provide first class technical support to client accounts at all times
* Manage and support our SME clients I.T. hardware and network
* Attend our client sites within Hampshire, Surrey & Sussex (pool cars are provided) [So a clean full driving license is essential]
* To provide remote and telephone-based support
* Ability to keep up to date with new technology and knowledge share within the team
* Enjoy helping others with varying technical abilities
Main requirements for the successful 2nd Line IT Technician:
* Ideally 2 years plus experience within the I.T support industry
* Great customer service skills and ability to build working relationships with clients.
* Previous experience in supporting varied I.T Support networks and varying client accounts.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2003 to date, (Mac and Citrix preferred but not essential).
* Ability to work productively within a team or solely.
* Being forward thinking and innovative.
* Clean -full driving license is essential.

* Negotiable Salary £28000-£35000 per annum
