Data Cabling Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum
Techunite Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Structuring Cabling Engineer to join the team of a growing telecoms organisation. You will be provided with a company vehicle and all travel expenses will be covered.
You will need comprehensive experience of Structured Cabling Infrastructure projects of all sizes and the role will require travel throughout the UK. The role will consist of the following:
Responsibilities:
* Installation of 5e/6/6a cabling infrastructure in commercial/construction environments.
* Experience in Fibre Optic infrastructure would be an advantage
* Competent in the installation of containment systems
* Ability to follow project specification documents and drawings
* Understand Health and Safety Policies
* Scheduling of material procurement
* Ensure project milestones are met
Experience Required:
* Experience in the installation, termination and testing of MM and SM Fibre Optic cabling systems
* Experience of AV Systems
* Pay high attention to detail, and have excellent organisational skills
* CSCS or ECS Card
