Sous Chef & Head Chef
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18 – £22/hour
Newstaff is currently recruiting for a Sous and Head chef for our client based in Bedford.
Immediate start for the right candidate
Enhanced DBS required
£18.00 – £22.00 per hour DOE
Weekly pay
Full-time, Monday – Friday
Main duties:
• Needs to be capable of covering dinner on their own if needed.
• participates in and supervises the cooking of food accordance with established recipe cards and methods
• ensures all dishes are correctly garnished before being sent to relevant outlets
• ensures that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner
• ensures work area is kept clean, hygienic and organised
• ensure that all equipment/ utensils in the section are correctly handled and maintained
• to deal with guest comments and complaints in a constructive and empathetic manner
Ideal candidate should be fully aware and comply with:

• Food Hygiene Regulations
• Health and Safety Procedures
• Current Licensing Regulations
• Method of payment
• Maintains a safe and hygienic work environment
