Based in Cambridge the Senior Software Engineer will be joining an established industry leading organisation working on the development of photonic technologies. The Senior Software Engineer will work independently within a small embedded software team, designing, implementing and maintaining software applications in C. The company offers the Software Engineer an excellent benefits package, working environment and technical innovation.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with a proven background in:

* Software development in C Programming

* Basic understanding of Linux

* Python Scripting

* Application Software Development would be beneficial

* Other areas of interest include API, TCP/IP and Linux on kernel
