IT Service Manager – Geospatial (external client facing)

Salary : £65000 – £75000/annum +Benefits

Location: Cambridge (but can be hybrid or remote)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 (potentially up to £75k)
Our client, a leading provider of software solutions in the geospatial space is looking to hire an ITIL certified IT Service Manager who has experience in a customer facing role and has worked in the geospatial and governement space before.
The client are willing to offer a hybrid model of office / remote work (2 or 3 days in the office) once things return to normal. But there will be extensive travel to their customer sites with potentially overnight trips.
Skills and experience required:
* Experience as an externally facing IT Service Manager
* ITIL certified
* Proven experience if managing service-related projects from inception through to delivery
* Knowledge/Experience of Geospatial / GIS space
* Experience in managing and building relationships with External customers
* In depth understanding of the Service Management Framework
* Knowledge of geospatial applications and data with the ability to apply that knowledge to customer’s business.
* Previous experience of working with the government sector customers will be an added advantage.
* Experience / familiarity with agile project methodologies such as SCRUM.
