We have an exciting opportunity for an Warehouse Operative for our growing client in York YO42 who specialize in turf growing and landscaping supplies, based in the North of England in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the UK’s most specified turf grower for almost 50 years

Roles are all immediate starts for the right candidates. This is a ongoing temp to perm position with plenty of overtime available!!

If overtime is an interest there is overtime available payed at £13.20 to top your working hours up to 50-60 hours per week!

The working hours are Monday to Friday 6AM – 2.30PM (40 Hours per week!)

Salary: £10.42 per hour with a weekly pay £416 payed every Friday

Our client is hiring Agricultural Laborer's who feel at home amongst nature, the outdoor elements and the landscape around them, Who have no problems getting their hands dirty and their boots muddy, and are happy with early starts and early afternoon finishes.

Experience in an outdoor or horticultural setting is useful but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will be working as part of a diverse and highly professional and motivated team!

Full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities • Reliable, with attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality

Flexible approach will be required to work Overtime hours (including weekends/evening shifts during Peak times • Able to work indoors and outdoors in all conditions (appropriate PPE will be provided). • Will also have to be reasonably fit due to practical and manual handling requirements • Able to perform repetitive tasks across consecutive days with the same level of attention to detail • Be self driven and proactive and willing to work within a team

Your duties as Agricultural Worker will include: • Working to targets set • Picking, Packing and lifting • Standing for long periods during each shift

Physically demanding as heavy lifting will be involved • Preparing turf for transit, facilities management, using and operating machinery •bagging tuft with loading and unloading duties
