Hours: Full-Time, 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, plus alternate Sundays 8-1pm

The Lakes Free Range Egg Company is a market leading egg producer and packer based near Penrith. The welfare of our hens and the standards we set are very important – something our staff work hard to maintain.

What we do: You’ll be part of our team working in a cutting-edge packing centre, helping process and pack thousands of eggs. It is a physical, fast paced role which requires manual handling, some repetitive bending and use of pallet lifters. It is essential that we all maintain high standards of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
Skills needed: Previous experience an advantage but not essential as full training is provided. You will need a reasonable level of fitness. Reliability, multi-tasking, problem solving and good attention to detail. A willingness to learn and positive manner are essential. FREE Transport available from Carlisle.
Your role & responsibilities:
• Basic visual quality checks
• Running and operating lines
• Packing eggs
• Lift cases onto pallets
• Complete basic paperwork
• Maintain hygiene standards
• Follow H&S guidelines
