Warehouse Operative
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £11 – £13.75/hour
The Business
Our long standing client, Situated in Alconbury between Peterborough and Cambridge, supply pre packed floral products to a wide array of Supermarkets for famous brands such as Tesco, Morrisons and Marks and Spencer to name a few.
They are presently recruiting for Order Pickers on either dayshift or nightshifts on temporary to permanent contracts for their 3 month peak and beyond between now and April 2022.
Responsibilities –
– Picking goods from racking and provide continuous products for packing lines as and when necessary
– Sorting of items to ensure goods are despatched or added to the inventory promptly
– Handling of product and Basic inspection duties
– Filling in of required paperwork
-Strive to maintain a clean and pleasant place of work for you and teammates
– All other job related tasks assigned by team leaders

– Good time keeping and a person to depend on
– Able to focus when under pressure
– No issue working in a cooled premises ( PPE provided)
– Picking or warehouse roles in work history would be a bonus
– Confident to to work independently once settled in the role
– Team player with Good basic level of English
– Flexible and helpful in the workplace
– No issue walking 5-6 km per shift
Shifts –
**You will undertake days or nights , Not a combination of both
Day pattern – 7am – 7pm (approx) on 4 days on 4 days off rolling pattern
Night Pattern – 6pm – 6am (approx) on 4 nights on and 4 nights off rolling pattern
** additional hours will be asked of in Peak period
Salary-
Dayshift – £ 11
Nightshift – £ 13.75
