Committed to producing high quality work that informs, excites and entertains, Opera North is looking for an experienced and well-motivated individual to fill the role of Video Producer

Opera North is seeking a creative and driven Video Producer for an exciting opportunity to work as part of our expanding Video Unit.

With the ability to both shoot and edit video footage, you will produce high quality short-form video content for Opera North’s digital communications and marketing channels which builds audience engagement and insight, promotes productions and drives ticket sales. You will also support the delivery of longer form content and livestreamed events, bringing technical filmmaking expertise and playing an active role in shoots at a variety of scales.

Video Producer Requirements:

Degree in media production or related field, or professional training in filmmaking/content creation.
Experience of creating video content for online platforms.
Demonstrable experience using professional video cameras, microphones and lighting.
Experience of using Adobe Premiere editing software.
Experienced in undertaking and editing video/audio interviews.
Good understanding of best practice for video on social media channels.

Desirable:

Experience using DSLR Cameras for photography.
Experience of animation and motion graphics.
Interest in the arts, music and theatre.
