Our client, based near Reading are looking for a Video Games Consultant to support their team with business development. This role could be performed remotely so a successful candidate need not live locally but would still need to be able to attend occasional meetings in the office. It is a full-time, temporary role for at least 1-2 months with the potential for renewal thereafter.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished, enthusiastic individual with extensive games industry experience and strong business consulting expertise. They will have solid analytical and presentation skills as well as a positive, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Making and giving presentations, articulations and Business Development proposals.
Managing multiple stakeholders.
Identifying potential partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
Evaluating partnership proposals and negotiate favourable terms.
Collaborating to develop effective business strategies.
Assisting in setting achievable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Conducting comprehensive assessments of the existing business models, operations and financial performance.
Identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) to provide actionable recommendations.
Stay up to date with the latest gaming industry trends, market dynamics, player preferences and competitor analysis.
Stay informed about gaming regulations, legal requirements and industry standards.
Conducting market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Providing insights on industry benchmarks and best practices.
Utilising data analytics tools to track and analyse key performance metrics.
Providing regular reports and actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.

What we are looking for:

Expertise with multiple platforms such as Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and Mobile Gaming.
At least 10 years' experience across multiple Game Testing Projects.
Strong experience in representing and selling Solutions, Services and Strategies for Business growth with multiple customers.
Good Experience in managing customers and multiple stakeholders for collaborative work across Gaming Programs.
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams (developers, designers, producers) to ensure seamless and efficient communication on QA process, progress, challenges, and recommendations to project stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
Ability to analyse user data and metrics to identify target demographics, optimise marketing campaigns and improve player engagement and retention rates.
A strong and up-to-date understanding of compliance matters related to data privacy, age restrictions, loot boxes, gambling regulations and other relevant legal considerations.
A strong professional network within the gaming industry, including developers, publishers, investors and industry experts.
