We’re currently looking for a Video and Multimedia Officer to join our Creative Resources Team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 21 hours per week.

The Role

As a Video and Multimedia Officer, you will be responsible for producing media to support our campaigns and educational work.

Specifically, you will act as a brand guardian as you create footage and maintain our stock footage library. This catalogue will enable our Digital Team to develop rich content to support the Blue Cross’ online presence.

Working with our existing Multimedia Officer, you will balance producing duties with external supplier project management.

Additionally, you will:

– Respond to briefs with creative treatments and storyboards
– Organise and schedule shoots, including sourcing participants, props and locations
– Ensure supporting paperwork is completed, such as model release forms
– Mediate with external suppliers as appropriate to book and arrange shoots
– Manage, log and store rushes and masters efficiently

About You

To be considered a Video and Multimedia Officer, you will need:

– Extensive experience of video production and editing
– Experience of producing videos for different platforms and audiences, particularly social media
– Experience of project management
– Strong skills in camera work, sound, lighting and directing video
– Adobe Premier Pro editing skills
– Strong organisational skills
– A full, valid driving licence

Ideally, you will have experience of using Adobe After Effects. It would also be beneficial if you have experience of producing live, online video. It would also be advantageous if you have a degree or equivalent qualification in film/video production.

This position is salary grade 4.2.
