Trainee Welder Fabricator

We have an opportunity for talented trainee fabricators to join our busy team at our Oldbury branch.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for fabrication and welding, looking to build a long term career. Do you want to work within a company that specialises in the Petro Chemical industry, a company that has a niche market, supplying to customers worldwide.
Job type; Temporary/Permanent based on successful candidates completing a 13 week agency trial.
Salary negotiable depending on age and previous experience.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.30, Friday 08.00 to 15.30 (39 hours).
Person requirement: – must have a passion for fabrication.
– Must be literate and numerate.
– Be able to work alone and within a team.
– Positive attitude.
Duties: – learn all aspects of fabrication, including welding of different types of steel and stainless steel, forming of plate into cylindrical and conical shapes, marking out to sketches and engineering drawings.
Undertake training (in house) – moving and handling, overhead crane, abrasive wheel course
