Calling all STM editorial candidates available now to take on a gorgeous Temporary Publications and Editorial Officer role!
We are working with a prestigious UK charity committed to improving healthcare for all, who are looking for someone with strong in house editorial/production experience to cover a 2-month absence in their publishing team. The postholder will work on a range of print and digital publications, collaborating with colleagues in Editorial, Marketing, External Affairs to ensure all published materials are of high quality and in line with house style and audience requirements.
The role can be hybrid with ideally one day a week in the office in Central London.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong proofreading and copy-editing (ideally from working with scientific content)
Experience working with different types of publications across both print and online
Ability to work with complex technical content and making it accessible to different audiences
Knowledge of in-house publication production processes
Experience commissioning external parties and freelancers to produce publication materials
Familiarity with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator to amend content and make minor edits to images, charts and graphicsIf this sounds exciting ad you think you could come in and hit the ground running, we would love to hear from you!
