Temporary Chef
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £11 – £11.50/hour
Our client based in Darwen is looking to recruit a temporary chef for a period of 12 weeks .
Working hours : Monday-Friday 7am-3PM
Duties :
– Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety standards
– Assist in menu planning and development
– Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
– Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Skills:
– Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
– Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
