We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager or established Project Support Officer looking for the next step in their career to join a team of specialists working on a complex IT convergence project as the assistant to the Technical Programme Manager. The primary purpose of the role will be to provide the Programme Manager and the Project Team with technical assistance in the co-ordination, planning and control of the project. Specifically the role is charged with collation of project plans, policies and solutions and contributing to issue resolution and escalation, research, analysis activities and planning and monitoring activities. Actively engaging with stakeholders promoting team building and partnership to ensure the delivery of a top-quality Programme Management Office.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Demonstrable success in a Project Support Function with a broad understanding of programme and project management (Agile and Waterfall) methodologies
* Good understanding of operational processes, preferably within the IT, systems engineering or cyber security industry

Great communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
*
Experience of analysing and interpreting complex information and communicating it appropriately to a range of stakeholders
*
Qualified in programme or project management disciplines such as PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent
*
Experience of working at secure sites while adhering to policy on information management and security
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience and interest within the information security domain
*
Membership of an appropriate professional or chartered body
*
Experience of leading or working within a Programme
* Knowledge of the Defence Industry or a similar Technical Discipline
