Reporting to the Technical Manager, the company is looking to recruit a Technical Analyst who will be part of the team responsible for predominantly building global flood models and hazard maps. You will be trained to use the company’s Flowroute-i hydrodynamic flood modelling software and perform advanced GIS data processing on catchments around the world.
You will provide technical and GIS support (data processing, analysis, visualisation), collate and analyse data and conduct research. You will also contribute to wider product development activities such as testing, quality assurance and product maintenance (for example, updates and upgrades).
The company are looking for a confident, motivated and enthusiastic candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to join their dynamic and positive technical team. They are looking for a candidate who has some experience in GIS but is also an all-round individual who can multitask within a small team, is reliable and easy to get along with.

Strong technical ability in data analysis and modelling and a desire to extend this aspect in your career

Interest in Digital Solutions
Requirements (Essential):
Comfortable with GIS Software (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo etc.)
Demonstrable ability to handle analytical data
IT Literate
Report writing skills
Requirements (Desirable):
Relevant Degree (e.g. Physical Geography, Environmental Science, Natural Hazards, etc.)
