Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £12/hour

Responsibilities:

* To support a team of Support Workers to ensure the provision of a Care Service that is unique to each client.

* To ensure on-going knowledge of the functions and activities of the Care Packages and their teams.

* To work with the Care Package Teams to ensure that the Care Service is delivered to a high standard in line with the Organisation’s Policies and Procedures and related Codes of Conduct

* To support and take directives from Registered Manager / Deputy in relation to the day-to-day management of the Care.

* To conform to all Policies and Procedures laid down by the Organisation in respect of carrying out these Care Duties and in other administrative aspects of the business, as relevant.

* To assist with the identification of staff training needs, and to participate as directed by the Registered Manager / Deputy in Induction Training and regular In-service Training programmes including Support Hive training for the staff.

* To assist with the management of staff rotas, and to contact Support Workers with alterations of work patterns and changes to service user requirements, as necessary.

* To assist with the maintenance of accurate, concise, and timely records of clients’ care, diary sheets, time sheets and mileage sheets.

* To participate in Staff, Team and Quality Management Review Meetings as directed by the Registered Manager / Deputy. To chair Staff Meetings as directed by Registered Manager / Deputy

* To report back to the Registered Manager / Deputy on any aspect of client care which she feels warrants investigation or urgent action.

* To participate in reviews of clients’ Care / Support Plans & Risk Assessments as required.

* To attend MDT reviews for nominated clients and write weekly / monthly reports as directed by the Registered Manager / Deputy.

* To conduct monthly audits on the care packages and report to the Registered Manager / Deputy.

* To carry out staff supervisions as directed by the Registered Manager / Deputy. Any issues or concerns to be discussed with the Registered Manager / Deputy.

* The role also offer's £0.45p per mile paid for travel

* Overtime rate of paid and sleep in rates

* Travel with job is needed between different locations stretching from Plymouth to Exeter
