Stores Person
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.57 – £11.45/annum
Stores person required to work for the NHS. The ideal candidate will be flexible, good organisational skills and a team player. Working in mainly a cold environment so you will need to be able to withstand work in this environment. This role is temporary 3-6 months could be extended.
Duties:
Receive deliveries & ensure all stock is stored correctly
Checking stock levels are maintained-counting, rotation of items and any goods needed are requested
Temperature monitoring of all refrigerators & freezers
Working in a large freezer protective clothing provided but you will need to be able to work within a cold area for periods of the day.
At times some catering portering work may be required to help out in the kitchen
General cleaning of stores area and kept clean and tidy, following cleaning schedule
Basic admin work logging stock items and levels using a computer so basic computer skills required
