Salary : £25000 – £34000/annum
Speech and Language Therapist for a school based in Battersea , London Borough of Wandsworth.
This special school in Battersea London which was Rated 'Good' in their last OFSTED is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist for an immediate start (after Easter).
This is a long term role and the school will consider applicants looking for a long term contract or a permanent position.
The school caters for students both Primary and Secondary with learning difficulties, Autism and Dyslexia.
The Position
Identification, assessment and support of speech, language and communication needs of children and young people.
Support the school to meet the needs of children with SLCN.
Review the students needs and work with the teachers and support staff to differentiate the lessons to meet each child's individual needs.
Observation and informal assessment tasks.
Qualifications
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
The school will consider newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists
