SOUS CHEF NEW OPENING…. NEW TEAM…..
my client is looking to hire a experienced sous chef to assist the senior team in the new opening of this busy modern British brasserie
* forward thinker and able to work under pressure
* good understanding of modern British food
* able to step up in the senior teams absence
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
Liaising with the Exec & Head Chef to assist with the provision of meals for the main catering services,. To undertake the planning and development of menus, placing orders and maintaining specified standards of food handling and storage procedures. To lead by example and when necessary manage the kitchen operation assuming all responsibilities, in the absence of the Exec and/or Head Chef. Undertake and assist with training and development of the kitchen brigade.

Experience:
* Chef: 7 years (preferred)
