An experienced Sous Chef is required by a Pub/Restaurant; serving patrons with good English Beer, Fine Wines and freshly prepared seasonal food from local suppliers. The establishment is one of Windsor’s smallest pubs with only nine tables inside, and wooden benches outside. They require a Sous Chef on a full time basis & are offering the rare opportunity of every Friday & Saturday night off.

Role Overview:

The Sous Chef reports directly to the Head Chef & must be able to stand in when required. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

* Directing the food preparation process and providing support to KP

* Cooking and preparing high quality dishes

* Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes

* Supervising all kitchen stations

* Supervising, motivating and working closely with other colleagues

* Being responsible for health and safety

* Being responsible for food hygiene practices

* Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created

* Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering

* Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
