2020 Recruitment are working with a Kirkcaldy based client who are looking to add a Service Engineer to their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in servicing and repairing garden machinery and small engine equipment.

The ideal candidate will thrive working in a busy and rapidly expanding environment

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with overtime at weekends on shift pattern.

The Role

As the Service Engineer you will be working within a busy workshop alongside other members of the engineering team. You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs on various 2 stroke engines and 4 stroke engine machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the Service Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:

· Repair and service of Agricultural machinery and equipment.

· Pre-delivery inspection of machinery and equipment.

· Attending ongoing technical training provided by various manufacturers

· Working within a large team and helping support other members of staff

Requirements

To be considered for the Service Engineer role you must have the following experience:

· Experience in the service and repair of Agricultural machinery and equipment (or similar)

· Experience in similar position

· Ability to diagnose and identify faults

· Ability to working within a team

· Customer service skills

· Driving licence would be beneficial
