Senior Progress Developer

Salary :
We are looking for a team-oriented Senior Progress 4GL Developers, based in Leicester, with a can-do attitude to work on diverse and exciting new innovative global projects. Responsibilities you will have in the role are to undertake the full development lifecycle of a global Progress application and to produce high quality software solutions within time and budget.
Role Responsibilities
* Undertake the full development lifecycle of a global Progress application.
* Produce high quality software solutions within time and budget.
* Provide support of existing applications to an agreed SLA.
* Work within a team and focus on continuous improvement and learning.
* Create innovative solutions to problems.
* Facilitate and support onsite deployments of major projects.
* Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
* Degree or third level qualification in IT with at least 3 years of professional experience.
* Exposure to querying relational databases.
* Experience in successfully delivering development projects in a commercial environment.
* Working knowledge of Unix / Linux Operating System and commands.
* The ability to work under pressure and deliver to changing business demands.
* Ability to see the bigger picture and understand a global application focus.
* Ability to code to standards and take direction as to general coding method.
Additional Information
* Travel may be required.
