Magenta are currently looking for an experienced Senior NPD Technologist to join a growing team in North Wales. This is an excellent chance to join a thriving business and help drive the development of their new products. The role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 and the opportunity to make a real impact on the business’s success.

As Senior NPD Technologist, you will be responsible for the management of new product development projects from concept to commercialisation. This includes the development of recipes, conducting research, testing products and liaising with production teams. You will also be responsible for product stability testing and shelf life testing, as well as the preparation of product specifications.

You will have the opportunity to work with a highly creative team and have the satisfaction of seeing your products reach the market. You will be expected to keep up-to-date with industry trends and ensure that new products are compliant with all relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate:

* Preferably educated to degree level.

* Experience working within an NPD technologist role in the food industry ideally within bakery.

* Knowledge and experience of bakery ingredient functionality

* Understanding of HACCP Principles and suitably qualified (Level 3 minimum)
