Senior Journalist
One of Britain's largest independent regional news companies is looking to recruit a Senior Journalist.
We are particularly looking for:
· Specialist Crime and Courts Correspondent – A chance to work one of Britain's newsiest regions, offering an understanding and insight into the challenges facing police as well as covering major court cases.
· Senior News Correspondents – Reporters who would relish being able to bring in hard news stories and human-interest features, bringing in front page leads and substantial online traffic and able to take on lively and interesting background news features.
These are roles for ambitious, dedicated, and enthusiastic journalists with a proven track record.
As a multi-media journalist, you must be comfortable producing content for all our print and digital platforms – from in-depth news features for our newspapers, to breaking news articles for our websites, as well as covering stories as they happen on live blogs.
We are looking for NCTJ-trained journalists, able to deliver accurate, entertaining copy to meet strict deadlines.
We will also consider NCTJ Diploma trained journalists who are working towards their NQJ.
