Hayward Hawk are currently recruiting for a Senior Database Developer for their global software company.
This role is for an initial 6-month period however there is potential for extension.
You will implement, test and deploy database code for our client.
Responsibilities:
* Developing new core database code
* Supporting and enhancing existing database code
* Documenting, testing, and tuning the core product codebase
* Coaching other team members and carrying out code reviews
Requirements:
* Strong experience with T-SQL in a MS SQL Server environment
* Stored procedure and trigger programming
* Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
* Shell scripting
* Communication skills including cross-team interaction
* Time management skills; able to prioritize and multi-task; ability to clearly report status upwards
* Ability to author technical documents, including design specs and release notes
