Accountancy Elite yet again have been instructed by a long term client of ours based in the heart of Gloucestershire who are winning and retaining work so are in need of a new team member. They are looking to recruit an organised, confident Accounts Senior who has a minimum of 5 + years practice experience and is up to date with all accounting legislation.
Does this sound like you? Then you could be just the person they are looking for to join their friendly accountancy practice with a growing client base. Now in their twelfth year of trading the business is expanding and with a flourishing network of clients, they have the need to expand their team.
This is an essential role for the firm and will require a self-motivated and driven candidate, who can really hit the ground running, with proven experience in a professional UK based accounts practice. Ideally you will be fully ACCA or ACA qualified, however this role is also open to those who are qualified by experience. You will be joining a fantastic team based in our Cheltenham office.
You will be an experienced practice accountant with excellent technical skills. You will also have the skills to build strong relationships with a broad ranging portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. This role would suit an accomplished Accounts Senior looking for their next step or a fresh challenge. The position offered will be a mixture of ‘hands on’ preparation of client work,reviewing junior and peer files as well as developing dynamic working using our Digita and Xero software packages. Experience of Digita, Xero, QuickBooks, Freeagent and Sage is essential to the role.
Their work is divided equally between compliance services and advisory, including transactional and funding projects.

EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ experience working at senior level.
