SEN Teaching Assistant
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £65 – £80/day
Link3 are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant required to start as soon as possible at a Secondary School located in Nottingham.
The role requires that you support the pupils and work closely alongside the classroom teacher with planning, assessments and the children’s’ progress. You may be required to deliver lessons to small groups or work 1:1 with children with SEN (ADHD ASD, attachment issues, SEMH) This role requires flexibility as you could be working anything from 1 day to 1 term, we are seeking a well rounded individual that would be confident delivering lessons to a full class if required. Manual Handling Qualification is essential.

As a minimum, all applicants must have; Minimum Level 2 or above in childcare/teaching and learning or have had previous experience of working as a teaching assistant with experience of working 1:1 with children with special needs or behaviour difficulties. Have a positive approach to managing behaviour and be passionate about your subject which is evident in your teaching. Applicants will be subject pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service.
