SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE – JOB REF: JO31429
Accountancy Elite are thrilled to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in High Wycombe. This company serves a wide range of clients in the local and surrounding areas. This company is looking to expand their Accounts team due to continued growth and taking on more work, as a result they can offer plenty of scope for the successful candidate to progress.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is in the late stages of AAT or is already AAT qualified and studying towards either ACCA or ACA. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is necessary. Good general knowledge and previous experience using cloud-based accounting software is also preferred.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* General Bookkeeping and VAT duties for a variety of clients.
* Some involvement in external audits.
* Regularly liaising with new and existing clients to build strong working relationships.
* Acting as a mentor to assist with guiding and training Junior staff members.
Candidates Attributes:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
* Either late stage AAT or AAT qualified and progressing with ACCA/ACA qualification.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
