SEASONAL TOUR GUIDES – LAGAVULIN & CAOL ILA
Based in the picturesque island of Islay, both Caol Ila & Lagavulin are phenomenal distilleries to view. Both working sites, you will experience firsthand the Distillers at work ensuring the magic comes alive. Caol Ila Distillery is situated on the Northeastern shores of Islay with magnificent views of the Paps of Jura and is the newest addition to the Johnnie Walker Four Corners of Scotland Distilleries..
Your Time at Work
This fantastic opportunity as a Seasonal Tour Guide provides a chance to be involved with a dynamic team who aim to create remarkable experiences for all their visitors, taking them on a journey they will always remember and sharing their love for Whisky with all visitors. You will be responsible for sharing the heritage with passion and enthusiasm and acting as ambassadors to the business.
Our Perfect Worker
This is a crucial and important role within the team, and you will be required to provide a first-class customer service experience. From warmly greeting the visitors to promoting brands, providing guidance on questions and upselling products alongside assisting in the shop. The ability to work together as a team and have exemplary communication skills are imperative.
Building strong rapport with customers is key and having the confidence and passion to represent Lagavulin & Caol Ila in a dazzling way, ensuring the customers leave with complete satisfaction.
No prior knowledge of Whisky is necessary, however if you are fluent in other languages that would be advantageous but not essential.

The site is open across seven days per week and we require flexibility as evening and weekend work is required..
