Part Time Cook
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, diverse, multi site school in a busy catering role.

Responsibilities
* Plan and implement menus that provide a good level of nutrition.
* Provide meals that meet individual dietary requirements.
* Be responsible for the effective operation of the kitchen this includes drawing up staff rotas.
* Making suitable arrangements for times when you are not on duty but the kitchen continues to operate.
* Ensure that all regulations relating to food preparation, cooking and storage are complied with.
* To ensure adequate stock of appropriate provisions, this will involve ordering in good time from approved suppliers, checking deliveries and invoices and monitoring the catering budget.
* To ensure all kitchen equipment is safe to use, maintained and stored in working order.
Requirements
* Proven catering experience within school setting
* Relevant qualification in Catering at Diploma Level 3 or equivalent
* Food safety Level 3
* DBS checked
