School Chef
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £11.88/hour
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chef to work in busy High School kitchen, to be responsible for the planning and preparation of high-quality food and catering service to the school. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 2 weeks initially.
Key tasks:
* Working to a set menu for the school as set out by the Manager
* Monitoring of stock, portion control and quality in accordance with the budgetary controls set
* Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and in accordance with food safety regulations
* To set up and clean down the kitchen areas before and after each shift
Skills and Experience:
* Must be experienced and qualified to minimum level 2
* Experience in a similar environment
* DBS preferred
Rate of pay £11.88 per hour
Start date Monday 26 February.
