Salary : £20479/annum

We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our client based in Exeter.

Administrative support for the school will include some specific tasks, as listed below, as well as an expectation of providing teaching staff with other administrative support and being part of the wider administrative team, helping out as required, for example being on reception if needed.

STATIONERY – Key Tasks

* Order and distribute stationery for the start of the school year, and thereafter order stationery as required, stocking as part of the routine of ordering and distributing.

* Supply stationery to staff, as required.

* Order teacher’s planners and school diaries.

* Perform annual stock check.

PUBLICATIONS

* Liaise with staff regarding content of publications e.g. Carol Service, Concert programmes, Junior production, Book lists.

* Format publications.

PHOTOCOPYING

* Copying, laminating and binding for all departments, as required

* Print publications as requested.

* Print certificates and citations for prize giving/summer celebration.

* End of term Information Update, various drama/concert programmes, posters, tickets, etc, as required.

* Ensure that all machines around the school site have a supply of toners and waste toner cartridges, so that they can be replaced by staff as needed.

* Ensure the machines in reprographics are re-stocked with paper as needed.

* Deal with, or call in engineer, for problems /faults on machines.

* Be responsible for the photocopying budget.

SUPPORT FOR EXAMINATIONS OFFICER

* Set up exam timetable with Examinations Officer

* Order exam supplies

* List requirements for special arrangements and update details on exam cards.

* Be prepared to stand in for the Examinations Officer.

Key skills

* High level communication and people skills, with a good personal manner.

* Excellent organisational skills and punctuality.

* Good IT skills (experience of Microsoft Office and managing PDFs is highly desirable).

* The ability to work under pressure to short deadlines.

* High standards in your work, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* The ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive documents and/or information.

* Flexibility in your working hours and a willingness to adapt to the changing demands of school life.

* A sense of humour.

* DofE Administration

* Reception duty 1 day per week and covering absence as and when required.

Package:

* Salary: £20,479.20 Per annum (FTE £24,850)

* Hours: (Apply online only) Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, 37 weeks per year. Some flexibility on hours would be considered.
